Oyster’s approach to tree planting is holistic, planting trees to create wildlife habitat, combat climate change and make a greener world.
To create wildlife habitats we are working in association with Tree Appeal planting multi-species tree plantations because ecosystems require the biodiversity of trees. In association with Tree Appeal we plant up to thirty different species of native broadleaved trees comprising berry and fruit-producing hedgerow trees and larger species such as beech and oak that produce nuts. These trees are planted in wildlife reserves like the one above Holmfirth West Yorkshire.

Hospice Winter Garden Redevelopment
Oyster proudly supported a local hospice by redeveloping its Winter Garden — creating a calm, restorative space for patients, families, and staff. The project enhances wellbeing and provides a peaceful environment for reflection and comfort throughout the year.
Supporting Local Charities at Christmas
Oyster proudly sponsors local Christmas bauble appeals, helping raise vital funds for community charities during the festive season. Supporting local causes is at the heart of our values — strengthening communities, bringing people together, and making a meaningful difference where it’s needed most.
Supporting Local Farmers and Reforestation
Oyster sponsored the replanting of over 17,000 trees and hedgerows to help a local farmer restore land damaged by a moorland fire. This initiative is vital for rebuilding natural habitats, increasing biodiversity, and reducing future flood risks — supporting both the environment and the local farming community.
Supporting Local Uniform Exchange
Oyster supports the local Uniform Exchange by donating school clothing, shoes, and sportswear, helping families access essential items. We also provided print equipment, allowing funds previously spent on consumables to be redirected toward improving the lives of children in the community.
Supporting Local Sports and Tournaments
Oyster is passionate about grassroots sports, sponsoring tournaments for over 1,000 children and partnering with local cricket and football clubs. Our support helps ensure young people have access to active, inclusive, and community-driven sporting opportunities.
Supporting Local Foodbanks
Oyster donated essential print equipment to local foodbanks, removing a significant operating cost and enabling more funds to go directly toward food and support for the homeless and those in need. This contribution helps maximise resources where they matter most – supporting our community.
